At First City Group, we support adults with complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives and we're looking for compassionate and committed Support Workers to join our Supported Living team.\n\nYou'll provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, complex health needs, and mental health conditions, helping them live life on their own terms with dignity, respect, and choice at the heart of everything you do.\n\nWe support people facing mental health challenges with compassion, respect, and an open, non-judgemental attitude. Through a trauma-focused approach, we recognise the impact of lived experiences and provide safe, person-centred support that empowers individuals to move forward with confidence and dignity.\n\nThis role includes providing 1:1, 2:1, and 3:1 support depending on individual needs and care requirements.

You will support individuals with a range of health conditions, including mental health needs, promoting emotional wellbeing, independence, safety, and community inclusion.\n\nWe're looking for people who are caring, reliable, patient, and passionate about delivering outstanding support that truly makes a difference every day.\n\n Hours, Pay & Location\n\nVarious hours available\nFlexible shift patterns, including days, evenings, and some 12-hour shifts in 24-hour care settings\nShift lengths starting from 4 hours\nPay rate: £12.74 per hour\nCovering Swindon & Surrounding areaWhat You'll Be Doing\n\nNo two days are the same, but your role may include:\n\nSupporting daily routines, including personal care and medication\nAssisting with physiotherapy and clinical tasks\nPreparing meals and promoting healthy lifestyles\nSupporting individuals with complex health needs (e.g. catheter care)\nEncouraging independence with budgeting, appointments, and community activities\nProviding emotional support and assistance with evening routinesYou'll work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality care.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nMinimum 6 months' experience in care or supported living\nConfidence supporting individuals with complex needs\nAbility to follow care plans and work independently or within a team\nA flexible, positive, and person-centred approach\nFull UK driving licence desirable but not essential (non-drivers must be able to travel independently)\nApplicants must be 18 years or overWhat We Offer\n\nGuaranteed hours (T&Cs apply)\n28 days' pro-rata holiday entitlement\nComprehensive induction, training, and shadowing\nFree uniform\nSpecialist training tailored to individuals' needs\nBlue Light Card - access to retail and lifestyle discounts\nEmployee Assistance Programme\nMotor maintenance discounts through a local partner\nUse of company pool car (subject to availability)\nRefer-a-friend schemeImportant Information\n\nAll roles are subject to an Enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and completion of mandatory training
