Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with special educational needs.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Support pupils with communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
• Help manage behaviour in a calm and positive manner.
• Create a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN, whether in a school, care, or support setting.
• A patient, understanding, and adaptable approach to student interaction.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.

Desirable (but not essential):

• Knowledge of autism, ADHD, or other learning difficulties.
• Relevant qualification in education or childcare.
