Our client who is one of the largest in the industry are seeking an experienced gas and oil heating engineer to join their busy team to carry out service, and repairs on domestic heating and hot water systems for customers in Peterborough area.\n\nDual Fuel Heating Engineer\n\nOur client is a trusted partner to the social housing and related public sector in delivering essential and affordable heating, energy savings, and compliance solutions.\n\nWith a Nationwide reach, regional and local relationships and expertise, and commitment to excellent client service they are set up to be a trusted partner for now and the future.\n\nOur client is a national company offering market leading heating & hot water solutions from a network of regional offices across the East of England and the Midlands, strategically positioned to ensure comprehensive coverage and uncompromised access to the clients\n\nWe are seeking an experienced gas & oil engineer to join our busy team to carry out service, and repairs on domestic heating and hot water systems for the customers.\n\nOverview of Role:\n\nThe primary responsibility of the Heating Engineer will be to maintain and repair heating systems in our clients' properties. They will ensure that the heating & hot water systems are operating efficiently and safely, and that any repairs are completed in a timely manner ensuring customer satisfaction.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nCarry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region.\nEnsuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards.\nCommunicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually.\nEnsure all Health and Safety requirements and legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and COSHH Records, are adhered to during your daily work.\nTo comply with stock ordering and auditing procedures so relevant parts are available to fulfil job requirements.Key Attributes & Requirements:\n\nGas qualifications are essential for this role including as a minimum CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.\nOFTEC certification (OFT10-101, OFT10-105E, OFT10-600a)\nOut of Hours evening and weekend cover on a rota basis is required as part of this role\nA friendly and professional attitude to build strong relationships with clients & tenants\nIt is important that we complete all the appropriate criminal and reference checks before you start working with us.What We Offer:\n\nCompany vehicle and fuel card\nUniform & mobile device\nSupport provided for professional qualifications\nEmployee wellbeing programme, occupational health support, telephone support- counselling for staff\nService level awarded annual leave\nEnhanced maternity & paternity packages\nDental/Healthcare cash plan\nCycle to Work Scheme\nElectric Vehicle Leasing Scheme\nGender & Equality Working Group\nA platform for development, career progression\nEmployee Voice programme\nSocial activities for all of the TeamsRole\n\nHeating Engineer\n\nLocation\n\nPeterborough\n\nBasic Yearly salary\n\n£43,000\n\nEmployment type\n\nFull-time- Permanent\n\nIDN1\n\nPlease call or send a CV to apply
