Are you a people-focused sales and relationship professional with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences?\n\nWe're recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a well-established care provider and play a pivotal role in driving occupancy, community engagement and resident experience within a welcoming care environment.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building relationships, creating strong local partnerships and making a genuine difference to residents and their families during an important stage of life.\n\nThe Role\n\nYou'll take ownership of all sales and marketing activity for the home, ensuring occupancy and revenue targets are achieved while maintaining an outstanding experience for prospective residents and their loved ones.\n\nWorking closely with the leadership team, you'll be responsible for:\n\nManaging enquiries and guiding families through the admissions process\nBuilding strong relationships within the local community and healthcare sector\nCoordinating events, PR activity and social media presence\nDriving occupancy and private funding growth\nSupporting seamless move-ins and excellent customer journeys\nDeveloping local marketing initiatives and outreach campaigns\nMonitoring competitor activity and market trendsThis is a highly visible role suited to someone who is confident, proactive and passionate about customer service and business development.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\nWe're looking for a motivated individual with:\n\nPrevious sales, marketing or business development experience within the care sector\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills\nA customer-first mindset with excellent organisational ability\nConfidence using social media and community engagement to build awareness\nThe ability to work independently while motivating others\nA proactive, professional and compassionate approachKnowledge of occupancy management, private funding, or healthcare referrals would be highly advantageous. As well as a generous salary, there is also the opportunity to earn commission through temporary stays and general admissions.\n\nDue to the nature of the work, this role requires the candidate to be on fully on-site. You must have a valid UK drivers license, as there will be a requirement to go into the community to meet clients to raise awareness of the care home and the support they provide The site is commutable from Leicester, Corby, Melton Mowbray, Oakham, Loughborough, Coalville & Market Harborough.
